Sherbert, aka Sunset Sherbet or Sherbert, is an indica-dominant (85% indica, 15% sativa) hybrid that is well-known for its delightfully creamy, sweet taste and well-balanced high that manages to achieve both an energizing yet calming effect.
This delicious strain was created by crossing two extremely potent and renowned strains: Girl Scout Cookies and Pink Panties. Lab reports bring in the THC levels at around 18-25%, with less than 1% CBD and around 1% CBN. The incredible result has a terpene profile that will not disappoint, including caryophyllene, limonene, and myrcene.
If you’re a first-time grower, this may just be the strain for you! It is an incredibly easy-to-grow plant that doesn’t need much maintenance and can boast mould and mildew-resistant properties that make it a pleasure to cultivate. It is especially successful when grown in a Mediterranean climate with a hydroponic system over soil. If grown outdoors, your crops will be ready late-September to early-October, with yields of around 300-350g/plant. Indoors, it has a flowering period of approximately 8 weeks and produces yields of around 250-300g/m2.
As an indica-leaning plant, Sherbet has a classic indica appearance, reaching medium heights of around 100-120cm, with bushy, thick stems that are packed with frosty buds covered in glistening trichomes and bright sunshine-orange pistils. The sugar leaves on this strain offer up a beautiful range of colors, from neon greens, yellows, and rusty oranges and browns.
The name says it all when it comes to the taste and aroma of this strain, which is as sweet as the much-loved sherbet it’s named after. It also offers up some fresh, fruity, berry notes and is as pleasant to smell as it is to taste.
